A quick midweek update from 530 Yonge Street — a few things landed since the weekend post that are worth knowing about, plus one section of the store that deserves more attention than it gets.
Pitch Black (ME05), Now by the Case
The newest listing in the store: a Pitch Black Booster Box Sealed Case ($1,349.95 CAD). This is a factory-sealed case of English booster boxes from the Mega Evolution series' July 2026 expansion — the set where Mega Darkrai ex headlines alongside Mega Zeraora ex, Mega Chandelure ex, and Mega Excadrill ex. Each box inside holds 36 packs. Case format is the play for collectors who want untouched sealed product or players committing to the set long-term. We have 10 cases available.
Prefer bundles? There's also a Pitch Black Booster Bundle Sealed Case ($1,099.95 CAD) — 25 bundles of 6 packs each in one sealed case. Only 2 of these in the store, so if that format suits you, don't sit on it.
New Preorder: D.Gray-man Joins Union Arena
Union Arena keeps pulling in beloved anime series, and this one's for the exorcists: the D.Gray-man UE28BT Booster Box ($119.95 CAD) is now up for preorder ahead of its March 19, 2027 release. Preorder slots are limited, and Union Arena boxes for popular series have a habit of disappearing well before release day.
A $6 Fix for Your Graded Slabs
Small but useful: Ultra Pro Resealable Graded Card Sleeves for PSA slabs (100ct) ($5.95 CAD) just hit the accessories wall. Archival-safe polypropylene, resealable flap, sized for PSA slabs and compatible with many ONE-TOUCH holders and screwdowns. If you've been stacking naked slabs in a box, six dollars solves that.
The Gundam Wall Is Fully Stocked
The Gundam Card Game has quietly become one of the strongest games in the store — Freedom Ascension (GD05) ($299.95 CAD), the game's 1st-anniversary set featuring Strike Freedom Gundam, has been one of our top-selling booster boxes over the past month. Right now every main set is on the shelf:
- Dual Impact (GD02) — $199.95 CAD
- Steel Requiem (GD03) — $169.95 CAD
- Phantom Aria (GD04) — $159.95 CAD
- Freedom Ascension (GD05) — $299.95 CAD
Looking ahead: Stardust Trails (GD06) ($179.95 CAD) is up for preorder ahead of its October 23, 2026 release — Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ makes its debut in that set. And if you want games in, not just cards: the weekly Gundam Thursday store tournament runs August 13 at 6:30 PM.
Destined Rivals, Beyond the ETB
The ETB restock got all the attention this weekend, but if you just want packs in hand, the Destined Rivals Booster Bundle ($99.95 CAD) is in deep stock right now — no hunting required. The Build & Battle Kit ($79.95 CAD) is also plentiful and a fun way into the set for players.
Events This Week & a Sold-Out Milestone
All three One Piece OP-17 release events (August 23, 27, and 30) are sold out — thank you, Toronto. If you missed a seat, keep an eye on the site for future One Piece events, including the weekly Tuesday and Thursday tournaments.
Still open this week: the Pokémon GO Mid-Year Celebration on August 16 and the Pokémon GO Worlds Celebration on August 21 — both have limited spots left. Weekly Pokémon, Digimon, Cookie Run, MTG Commander, and Ultraman play continues as usual; full schedule under Events on the site.
